About Us
Country House Restaurant, a beloved culinary gem in LaSalle, IL, has been delighting patrons since 2013. Serving LaSalle, Peru, Oglesby, and the surrounding areas, we offer homestyle breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for dine-in, carryout, or curbside pickup. Our doors are open from 6AM to 8PM Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6AM to 9PM Friday and Saturday, and 6AM to 3PM on Sunday. While in town we found this gem. Lunch is served beginning at 10am, however you can still order from the breakfast options.
Portion sizes are very generous, and the food was delicious.
Bubble gum machines like back in the day, and even an older gentleman sitting outside, reading his paper, added to the nostalgia of memories from the 80s.
Our hostess sat us and service was good, although I didn't catch the young lady's name.
We had eggs Benedict florentine, grilled chicken sandwich, cinnamon roll french toast, and pecan pancakes.
If youre ever in Lasalle or surrounding areas, the Country House Restaurant is a place worth stopping.

Great service, friendly staff, generous but reasonable portions. One of the best salads I've had, it's called the Jullienne here but very reminiscent of a chefs salad.
